FOREIGN PE INVESTMENTS IN REALTY GROW BY 33%: REPORT
The total private equity (PE) investments from foreign funds in Indian real estate increased 33 per cent, from `11,306 crore in 2014 to approx `14,974 crore in 2015. Owing to high property prices and high investment potential, Mumbai was accounted for about 35 per cent of the total foreign investments in 2015, followed by Delhi NCR accounting for about 25 per cent of the investments, says a recent report by Cushman & Wakefield. The structured debt deals i.e., investments that are primarily debt transactions organised in a manner that offers assured returns to the investor, accounted for almost half of the total PE investments in 2015, shows the report titled Opportunities for foreign investors in Indian Real Estate.
PLOTS FOR 500 DWARKA E-WAY OUSTEESS
The district town and country planning (DTCP) department has prepared a revised layout plan for Sector-110A, to provide alternative plots to 528 oustees of Dwarka Expressway. The revised layout plan will accommodate 500 oustees, and the others will be given plots in Sector-37C. The CM had set June 2016 as deadline for completing the Dwarka Expressway, held up due to delay in land acquisition, because of which only 14.33 km of the 18 km long road has been completed.Huda's plan is to give alternate plots through land pooling and other means. “We've prepared a revised plan to allot plots to Dwarka Expressway oustees, and forwarded it for the government's approval,“ said a senior Huda official.
